Career Highlights:

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Montana State University and attended graduate school for a MAEd in Montessori Education and Leadership. I have my Montessori certification at the Primary Level from Age of Montessori (now IMT). I have been in the early childhood education field for over fifteen years, and taught in the Montessori Primary classroom for ten years. I developed an online learning platform and hosted Zoom school during the Covid quarantine for my Montessori primary class, and my biggest joy in teaching has always been watching children spontaneously learn to read.

Things I am passionate about:

Montessori education, strengths-based learning, dance, bubble baths, and coffee.

In my free time, I love to:

Watch a good show, do hot yoga and dance, read cool parenting books, adventure with my son and husband, and create wish lists on Etsy.

Things I love most in the world:

Baby giggles, fuzzy socks, musical theater productions, and a good nap.

When I was little, I loved to:

Build fairy houses by the creek at my Montessori school, and write, direct, and shoot full-length feature films on my camcorder with my friends in my basement.

“We can’t say enough good things about Bozeman Montessori. There’s a passion for education here – and a general expression of kindness – that really puts you at ease as a parent. It can be hard to leave children [during the day], and see them grow up, but the staff and director at Bozeman Montessori put so much effort into the Montessori Method, and the specific needs of each student, that I feel like our boys (ages 19 months and 3) are in the best hands possible. We consider ourselves lucky to have found this school, the wonderful staff, and the supportive parent community.”
