Kaylee Conklin

Career Highlights:

I began my college education at University of Montana in 2019, studying Elementary and Special Education with a focus on supporting diverse learners and early childhood development. I have several years of experience working with young children in both clinical and school settings, and I recently returned to school online to continue pursuing studies in Speech-Language Pathology.

Special Skills:

Creating engaging, child-centered learning environments, supporting communication development, building strong relationships with children and families, and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

Things I am passionate about:

Early childhood education, language development, inclusive learning, helping children build confidence, and fostering curiosity through hands-on experiences.

In my free time, I love to:

Spend time outdoors running, hiking, training for endurance races, exploring Montana with my dog Jack, and working in my garden. I also love spending quality time with my niece and nephew, being with family and friends, and finding small ways to make everyday life feel meaningful and creative.

When I was little, I loved to:

Play school, climb trees, read books for hours, spend time outside, and help take care of animals.

Want to be remembered by:

The kindness, patience, and encouragement I brought to the children and families I worked with.

Personal philosophy:

Every child is capable, curious, and deserving of an environment that nurtures both independence and confidence.

“We can’t say enough good things about Bozeman Montessori. There’s a passion for education here – and a general expression of kindness – that really puts you at ease as a parent. It can be hard to leave children [during the day], and see them grow up, but the staff and director at Bozeman Montessori put so much effort into the Montessori Method, and the specific needs of each student, that I feel like our boys (ages 19 months and 3) are in the best hands possible. We consider ourselves lucky to have found this school, the wonderful staff, and the supportive parent community.”
